Lillian doesn’t like going outside when it’s chilly, so I put a little sweater on her to keep her warm.

I think Cleremont would have loved a sweatsuit if he’d had one. He just adored wearing the sweater I made him from the sleeve of an old sweatshirt. He’d prance around and smile when I put it on him in the Fall and always looked so forlorn when he had to give it up on laundry day and in the Spring when it came off for good. I still think Lillian will come around when the weather gets colder. Her little legs will freeze this winter. Maybe. I doubt it. Her fur was just as thin last winter, and she didn’t like sweaters any better then than she does now. Once she makes up her mind about something, she’s pretty committed: Ron is evil, sweaters are a violation of the Geneva Conventions, and cat food is worth all of the trouble you get in for stealing it.
