Into the rabbit-hole

I just returned from the Oklahoma Route 66 Association’s annual membership meeting.

I’ve already processed one batch of ads, and people have already started criticizing the cover (which hasn’t even been planned yet, much less designed), so I guess it’s officially Trip Guide season again.

Daybook for Jan. 9

I’m out of ideas today, so I’ll resort to a meme.

For today…

Outside my window… slick, half-melted snow with a coating of ice on top.
I am thinking… I need a snack.
From the classroom… I’m working up a cute Fillmore-style poster with the essential question for next quarter on it.
I am thankful for… our vet, who is a real sweetheart and helped Jason a lot this morning.
From the kitchen… a carton of yogurt.
I am wearing… jeans and a chambray shirt.
I am reading… The Foxfire Book.
I am hoping… that tomorrow is warm enough for me to wash the car and install a new seatcover in the back.
I am creating… second-semester decorations for my classroom.
I am praying… for a harmonious meeting tomorrow.
Around the house… sleepy dogs and a cat who is altogether too interested in the bathroom wastebasket.
One of my favorite things… sunshine.
A few plans for the rest of the week… wash the car, attend a meeting tomorrow, give the semester final, and redecorate my classroom.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you…
