I haven’t been out to New Mexico in seven months.
That’s like asking a Karmann Ghia to go 10,000 miles without adjusting its valves or changing its oil. It’s a wonder I’m still running at all.
I need a sunset over Tucumcari Mountain and a weekend in the high desert air, stat. It’ll be a couple more weeks before I work a hand free, but if anybody in the Land of Enchantment has a little pixie dust to spare, I’d be most appreciative if you’d send it my way. Just sprinkle it into the west wind and let it blow on across the Texas Panhandle and down 66 into Red Fork to tide me over until I get out there.

I haven’t gotten out of town is so long (and OKC and Durant don’t count). I need a road trip! I hope you get yours soon.
I’m very sorry you had such a crappy day and sorry we weren’t still there to help you when the bottom fell out. Can you feel the long distance hugs? For the record, I think you were handed a very raw deal and Karma has a real mean streak which will likely bite someone hard before this is over. Keep your eyes on the prize and watch for the next miracle. I know it’s coming, just don’t know when, what, where and how. What a testimony you will have when it gets here, though! God is proud of you and He’ll fix it.
This afternoon took a bit of a rough turn, but I think I’ve just been handed a blessing I very much needed. We’re only promised daily bread, and I’ve never had to go without it. Once my head cleared a bit, I saw the feast on the table in front of me.
There is nothing short of God’s allness.
I love this question from S&H: “…can the infinite do less than bestow all good?”
Nope!!!
love you…I don’t have any Land of Enchantment pixie dust, but I can blow the kisses of a friend as far as your heart is from me to thee.
love, Kate
